FAQ's

In typical computers neither the attack surface can be completely eliminated, nor can a connected device hold data offline, rendering fool-proof cybersecurity practically impossible. ZVC responds to the challenge of
implementing zero vulnerability computing systems for specific environments, by designing, developing and
integrating two radical paradigms:

  • Supra Operating System (SOS): a middleware software that obliterates the primary attack surface and,

  • In-Computer Offline Storage (ICOS): a hardware module that isolates critical data requiring sporadic
access, in cold storage within the connected device itself

SOS and ICOS are two radically novel components of ZVC which are inherently encryption independent. When these components are combined with well-crafted encryption mechanisms provide strong security guarantees.

The encryption independent components of ZVC renders it quantum resistant by design.

ZVC is recently being tested as a hardware wallet use case and is currently reviewed under H2020 grant program for implementation in diverse IoT device settings.

A minimalistic implementation of broad ZVC technology was recently validated with an experiment conducted at IMEC, Belgium under the Fed4Fire+ grant program by sanitizing a USB device to create a unhackable crypto transaction ecosystem.

A Consortium of 10 EU cybersecurity partners including 3 cybersecurity centres of excellence joined hands for a H2020 call for Improved security in open-source and open-specification hardware in connected devices. The ZVC4IoT consortium will integrate ZVC into mobile phones, tablets, and other IoT devices.
